Brief Report of Visit : -

As per the schedule, faculties and students departed from the FTC COER campus at 4:00 am on 17th October 2024. The group reached the Gokul-Shirgaon Milk Dairy Plant, Kolhapur, at 11:30 am. Students observed the entire operation of the automated dairy plant, gaining valuable insights into its electrical systems and processes.

On 18th October, the group visited the Power Substation at Nivli Phata, Ratnagiri. Students explored the substation switchyard, observed protective gear, and learned their operations. The site engineer explained the working principles and components of the substation in detail, enhancing students' understanding of power systems.

The visit concluded with the group leaving Nivli Phata at 4:00 pm and arriving back at the campus by 11:00 pm. This two-day industrial visit provided students with practical knowledge of electrical systems, complementing their theoretical learning and enhancing their academic experience.
